i took a plea bargain in an domestic violance case and i am to be sentenced in amonth but I want to take it to trial now . at the time. my lawyer on the case had to let my case go due to becominng a judge and the lawyer i was referred to was not real familar with the case and said he could get a deal for a misdemeanor only when it was all said and done i relized i had made a mistake in accpting this deal and would like to retract my plea and go to trial can i do this?
