i just found out i have a warrant in garfield county, OK for bad checks that were written by ex wife. i spoke with the DA and was told i can pay $500. to clear my name. do you think it is worth it to tell them i didnt write them would it matter. or should i just cut my losses and pay the money? i also live i louisiana now and if i would dispute it im not willing to travel there.

Was your name on the bad checks? If it was your best option would be to pay the money and move on. Even if you name was not on the checks it would cost you a lot more than $500 to fight the charges.
