My grandfather passed away in Va. He left a will to his wife and children. One of his children proceeded him, that child was my mother. My mother doesn't have a will and I am her only child. I wasn't metioned in the will, but my mother was. Since she passed away does her portion of the will come to me or is it divided among the remaining children?

It all depends on the exact words of his Will, and if the Will is valid. If it says something like "to A, B, C, D or their issue" then you should be getting something, while if it says "to A, B, C, and D, provide they survive me, and if not to those named who do survive me" you'd not get anything as a matter of law. A lawyer reading the Will can tell you. If the Will was not valid, you'd get her share.
