I rented a self_storage unit. My initial rental contract shows unit 48, which was my unit. My receipts have unit 31. I found my unit empty when I checked on it. I was told that unit 31 had an auction. I was also told that I should have taken out insurance on items. The owner says he's not responsible. What should I do? I as assuming they were mixed up.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alabama
