What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Two weeks ago we went to a furniture store and bought a bed frame, night stand and dresser. We made the purchase by looking at a display in the shop. When the furniture was delivered we felt that it looked a bit different and thought we might have just remembered wrong. Later when I did some research online I found out there was two manufactures that makes two very similar bedsets. However one was considerably cheaper than the other. We made some comparison based on the internet pictures and took some pictures of our bedsets. When we went back to the store and compared it with our picture we were certain they are not the same and we got the cheaper one instead. When we confronted the sales person he told us he have to talk with the boss and will call us on Monday. We received no call today and we went back to the store. They then told us the manufacture makes two different kinds of bedsets (obviously a lie) and if we want the one that's on display we have to pay $300 more. What can we do at this point? Any advice you could give us?
