I have a brother in the state of Connecticut. A Conservator of the Estate and a Conservator of Person were appointed for him. A question has arisen concerning his "personal effects". According to the General Statutes 45a-656 et seq, one of the duties of the Conservator of Person is "to take reasonable care of the respondent's personal effects". What is the definition of "personal effects"? Specific examples would be helpful. Thank You.
