I teach private guitar lessons and have a couple of students who did not pay. In one instance a had a students parent write a bad check. The other instance the student was taught a couple of lessons while his parents were out of town with the understanding that they would pay when they returned. That student never returned or paid. The first instance is worth $30 and the second was $45. Is there anything I could do to get my money without paying more than they owe in court fees etc.?
