What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kansas
My great aunt just passed away most of her assests are POD, no will. She has a sister, her two children, my deceased fathers wife. my brother and I. She was sick for several months. She had planned to quick claim her home to my brother and I. We were in denial thinking she would not pass on. She never had the chance to quick claim her home. She verbally told us and others that she wanted us to have her home. Now her sisters children are claiming to be her only living realitives. Her sister (my great aunt also) is also old and ill. Do we have any rights?
