What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Vt. Hello. I was talking to my mom yesterday about her car payments. I was shocked at what she told me and want to know if she was frauded in some way by a car dealership. I did not know she was leasing.
In 2000 she leased a toyota camry for 4 years. At the end of the 4 years the car dealership told her she could buy the car if she wanted to keep it. She loved the car. The dealership did another 4 years on the car for 11,000.00. So she has been paying on that darn car since 2000.00 at 350.00 a month. Can anyone tell me what the book value was on this car in 2004? Did she get ripped off somehow? I told her next time to call one of us kids before she makes those types of decisions on her own. thanks, Faith
