What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

I was adopted by my stepmother when I was a child. I am now 45 and wish to have it undone and my birth mother's name put back on my birth certificate. I have no relationship with my adoptive mother and have not had for over 25 years. My birth mother is deceased. Is it possible to have the adoption changed, and if so, what will I need to do?

You can't retroactively CHANGE your legal parents.

You CAN change your legal name, or be adopted as an adult, which would cause you to have a new birth certificate,
