What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
My boyfriend purchased a car from a dealership in Panama City Beach, Florida. He traded in a 2004 Ford Focus SVT. It was in perfect condition. The guy gave him a huge trade in for it. He then got a 1990 Corvette ZR1. This all took place about 4-5 weeks ago. Recently, my boyfriend started recieving calls about being late on car payments on a car he did not own. The dealership was supposed to be taking care of all this. My boyfriend called CitiFinancial and told them he was selling the car and to whom and when. Is there ANY legal action that can be taken if the dealership does not do something about this?
