I am a 16 year old highschool student and from Idaho.
The office called me in because I was sitting next to friend when he typed something offending about another student on a school computer. I didn't get in much trouble, they just said no internet after school just because I was near him and looked suspicious. My friend got 5 days detentsion. When I went in the office, I knew they wanted to get me in a lot of trouble but they had nothing on me because I was good all year. So they asked if I was doing school related work, which I was. I told them I was maintencing my site for 6th period. They looked at my site and said it was ok and let me go.
The next day my sixth period teacher calls me, the friend, and another friend (kid who helped build my site) into his class during lunch and yelled at us "You better not **** with me!" then he acted all nice. I was a bit perplexed and asked him why he's popping a hemroid. He said that the school people asked if my website was a school project and he said "I've never seen this site in my life!". Obviously he was lying because the whole class watched him download things from it the day before. So now that he lied to them I might get in trouble but so far nothing. He said that my site had porn links and that I just changed it (which is obviously a lie because he knows it is a school project site and that I would never do that!) saying that he has a screen shot of it with xxx links. I said "What you talkin about Willis?" and asked to see this "screen shot". He just said "No I can't thats private documents!". I asked him why he's trying to frame me and he said "I don't know what your talking about." But I know why he is trying to get me in trouble. He knows that if I get in trouble that I will tell the school administrators that the whole class witnessed him go to hacking sites, porn sites, tried burn me with a lighter (jokingly), has pocket knives in his desk, and selling laser pens at school. He also was calling me insulting names in front of the class for fun! He said that the police might check out my website and I might be called in the office. I laughed at him and said that first of all my disclaimer states that my site is a private site and that by the internet privacy act, anyone punishing me for its content is violating the first and forth amendment and is subject of a federal offense! I told him that my legal agreement clearly states that school faculty and law enforcement members are not allowed to enter my site without permission. I told him that I could even sue him if I wanted. My friend, the kid who is my partner on the site, told him that his uncle is the District Attorney and that he could get fired for cussing at us and threatening to frame us (bluffing, not really a district attorney).
Well that pretty much shut him up and now the teacher won't talk to me. So far I haven't seen any police call me or anything (after a day). Even if I didn't get in trouble and probably can't even if he frames me, I still don't think he should get away with all that stuff. I have a feeling he is telling more lies or making up stuff right now and I need help! I've convinced half the class to confess as witnesses to him accessing porn sites during class and all that stuff incase I get called in!
God damnit! I did absolutly nothing wrong. I meen nothing. I could swear on my grave that they have no reason to get me in trouble. If they do, then it is obvious to me that the school is being run by a bunch of Nazi's with dictator power because of their zero tolerance policy which they even claim allows them to access student's email accounts if they record their passwords! I know that that is a federal offense. Something is not right at this school. Is there anything I can do incase they decide to illegaly punish me? I won't make a big stink at the school yet because I'm not in trouble and I don't want them to get angry! They already said that I'm being extra monitored now. By the way my 6th period teacher collects guns and admits to being prejudice and is a vietnam vet!
