What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I signed a car title loan yesterday evening. I have not cashed the check they gave me. Can I legally cancel the contract and give them back the check without any penalty?

Thank you

You're going to have to read the terms of the loan you signed. Unless their is some statutory rescission rule, you probably owe them interest from the day they handed you the check as well as a account termination fee (these loans are by and large rip-offs).
