My mother left her car to me in her will but according to the courthouse, since she did not specify the make and model of the car I cannot put the car in my name by the will alone. I have a brother and I am not able to get in touch with him to sign a bill of sale. The courthouse said I would have to probate the will but since she has a very small estate and there is only the matter of this car, I was wondering if there is something else that can be done.
