What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD

We had our wedding in Philadelphia, PA. The photography was from NY. During our contract it was agreed that he will deliver our photos, albums and DVD in 4 to 6 weeks. However, it is 4 months now and he has sent only some loose photos. We keep calling him everyday and are considering some kind of legal action since we are sure we are not going to see the albums and DVD for at least a month.

We have sent him a letter mentioning that if all the items are not delivered in 2 weeks from receipt of the letter, we will consider taking legal action. The 2 weeks have ended and we do not have the albums or DVD.

We are also in a money cruch and want to see if we can resolve the issue as early as possible and possibly by an attorney from NY who will collect the fees after the case is successfully remediated. We are considering going through the Consumer Court to see if we can work this out.

Kindly advice on any steps or lawyers who can suggest any resolution tactics.

Thanks!
