What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)
California.

Back in July 2007, I made the error of paying Medi-Cal share of cost twice, because of ignorance of how the system worked. Gist of the mater is that SoC was satisfied by the other institution and the hospital must pay the overpayment back to me.
I have been trying to resolve this for over a year. I have called and talked to the hospital's Accounts Payable dept. a number of times, explaining the issue, etc. etc. for over 3 months, without resolution.

I'm totally frustrated.

How can one force a hospital to justly pay back what is not theirs?
How does one proceed to take them to court?
