on 02/14/01 in concord calif. i being a bartender took a check and cashed it which i have done on other occasions
walked in to find i had been replaced with no explanation
and asked to return my key when i asked for my check they said it would be there at 11:00am at this time it was 10:30
it is now 2:30 pm and have been told i am responsable for that check and they are not going to pay me .
can they do that?
