What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin
My son was recently given a ticket for underage possession. He is 20.
He went to court and plead not guilty and is using the reason of the fact that he had just arrived at the party however the officer never requested that the individuals empty the containers or did he take them from them.
He did however admit that he had taken a drink.
All the other individuals involved plead gulity and took the assessment and community service. Was this a wise move on his part?

If all they got was assessment and community service... seems like he may have made a bad move. From what I've read on here, possession is very easy to prove... especially after admitting it to an officer! Good luck!
