i went to my doctor on tuesday with what he feels is carpal tunnel. i am to see a specialist for conformation. two days later i was fired without warning and with no reason given. while i dont think i was fired because of the injury, i dont know where to turn. if i file unemployment, i dont feel i can qualify, because you have to be able to work, and i dont think anyone is going to hire me untill i have full use of my right hand again. do i have to wait untill i see the specialist to get a confirmed diagnosis to file for workmans comp. i am in texas, can you give me some direction.
