What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Live in FL

As the main loan holder but co-signed for someone, do I have any rights if the other party is not making payments? Is there any way to get out of the contract because of this?

**A: what type of loan? Personal, consumer, mortgage etc.?

It was a motorcycle purchase that was put on a special credit card through Suzuki. The account is now closed, but still paying on the balance

The only way to get out of the contract is to pay it off or refinance it.
