If you call the authorities(State police), and give information on someone who is wanted, how long does it take for them to be arrested? I know of someone who left the state to avoid going to prison. He is back in town and information was called in to the state police. This was a week ago and he is still on the run. What is their procedures and how long will it take. When the police knock on the door he hides. Or, he goes between residences to avoid the police. How will they find him if he is still running? And what if he leaves the state again when he finds out they are searching for him again? He has the potential to be dangerous to others and is still out there. Do the police take the information seriously or just pass it on as another phone call. Please respond.
