Parking ticket $280

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington State

My mom got sick and went to the hospital. When she got home she found ticket on the windshield.

She was sighted for parking too far from the curb ($30) and for parking less then 20 feet from wheelchair access ramp.

I have included the pictures of the place where she parked. Her car was parked where green mini van is parked (little bit closer to the yellow line)

Is this legal? How can we fight it?

All you have to do is prove that your vehicle wasn't parked where the ticket(s) say it was.
Here's a hint though: Pictures of a different vehicle at a different time prove nothing.

That was exactly my point...you can't prove it.
You may be able to negotiate a reduction in the fine. Someone more familiar with Washington procedures will have to advise on that...
