after 13 years of service I was terminated for being late on 6 times in 6 months when does the crime not fit the crime? also this came after just filing a ongoing flma form to help with my mother, she's 80. also there's a question that some resourses edit time of some employees and others are held by strict standards. I think that it was this resourse that is using me as a stepping stone.

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Retaliatory termination in many states is not allowed. You should speak with a labor law attorney at http://www.attorneypages.com. If you were trying to exercise your rights under the FLMA, you should not have been terminated. Perhaps the 6 tardys were related to the FLMA situation, as well?????
