I live in Colorado and needed some questions answered regarding an appeal. I had a court hearing involving custody and child support in July 2000. I have the following questions:

1. How do I go about requesting an appeal? Do I have to use my original lawyer (whom I question his competency)?

2. What is the typical process and how much can I do on my own?

3. If I am only appealing a portion of the judgement, do I have to involve all matters?

4. Any other pieces of advice or information would be appreciated.

Thanks for any information you can provide!
