What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington state

I have a son who committed a felony when he was on drugs who is serving a 1-year probation. He has one month left on his probation term. He is violating his probation by continuing to abuse substances. If I report him to his probation officer, will his probation be extended? If not, what would likely happen? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If you report your son, and action is taken, he will face a Probation revoke.

Talk to your son, and get him some rehab.

Thank you for your reply nickj119. I've talked and talked and done everything I can to try to help him. He's been through rehab 4 times. Although it's breaking my heart, I beginning to believe that long-term incarceration is what he needs to save his life.
