I live in New Jersey and have worked at the same job for 10 yrs. I recently had a baby and after my maternity leave was up I asked for some personal time off. They gave me 3 unpaid months and said that was all I could get, which made the baby only 4 months old. Being that she was being breastfeed I had to quite my job. I would like to know if I can file for unenployment being that I was forced to quite my job.( it's a big company and i know of other people who have gotten more time off then 3 months) Also how long can you wait to file a claim for unenployment?
