My husband worked for 1 week,in November, I believe. then quit. employer never sent check. Also didn't recieve a W-2 form for last year. After 2+ months My husband personaly went to get it. At that time the owner of the business made out a check and handed him the W-2. We deposited the check in our bank acct. A couple weeks later we recieve a notice from our bank saying that the check was `held' by the maker (we have no idea why) and our bank charged us $20.00. My husband went back to the business owner and requested payment in cash and reinbursement for the $20 the bank had charged us. The man refused to pay us the $20 the bank charged us when he put a hold on that check. I know it's only $20, but it's the principle of the issue. any advise would be appreciated. Thanks
