What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey
Hi everyone,
I have court date on tuesday (10/28/2008) for this parking ticket. I will really appreciate if someone can advise me how to proceed on this ticket.
Last Fridday I went to Newark International airport to drop a friend. As soon as I took out the all the luggage from my car and went to grab the trolley. I saw a police officer started writing the parking ticket. He didn't listen to me and wrote the ticket.
Now he wrote
Statute no: 4-138
offense description: No Standing
Where as when I looked at the code description, it says: Improper Parking
and other thing when I searched this ticket online on Welcome to NJMCdirect
and it has wrong information there:
Offense :39:4-138 Parking Prohibited
Offense Date/Time :10/18/08 06:15 AM
The offense date and time is wrong on Welcome to NJMCdirect.
Please advise how to fight this ticket in court.
