What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KS

I was convicted of X on 1/1/2006. On 1/1/2006 I was eligible for expungement after 3 years. Subsequently the expungement statute was changed to remove X from the crimes permitted to be expunged.

Is this an ex post facto punishment? Is it constitutional? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

You could try to argue that, but in the past it hasn't been found unconsitution. For instance, the registration of sex offenders was held to be applicable to those who's offenses predated the enaction of the law.
