What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Florida
My father was diagnosed with dementia 5 years ago. My step-mother moved all the money to only her name. His name is left only on the two accounts he receives his pension and SS. She also added her son from previous marriage to all the accounts, including those that my father's name is still on. My father had to approve of her son being added to the account, which he couldn't because he does not have the understanding of the situation. Do I have the right to participate in the financial decisions about my father as much as my stepmother's son does?
Thank you
