While I have personal knowledge of permission being given to a felony probationer in Texas to travel out of the country, there were special circumstances that came with it.

If you're the model probationer that hasn't had, or doesn't give problems, you stand a chance. The Courts do not have to grant travel permits under any circumstances. To be able to travel to different counties in and of itself is a privilege.

Keep in mind, that upon return, should you be granted the travel permit, you may be required to submit to a monitoring polygraph, to ensure the Probation Department that you followed your Conditions while away.
