What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Connecticut
My 15 year old son is accused of stealing a cell phone from a classmate.
A police report was filed and the police came to my house to see if my son would turn the phone over prior to any charges taking place.
I was told that if "some one" can identify my son as a caller, during the time the phone was stolen, he can be arrested for larceny.
Is this true?
Would it not also be true
That the "Someone" who might identify my son as a caller could be covering for the real thief.
Should I seek a lawyer??What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
