I have a felony that the judge said he will reduce to a misdemeanor after 18 mos of sucessful probation. Is this something I can do myself?

Also I have a few several tear old misdemeanors that I want to clean off my record. Again can I do this myself? SD Calif. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

You CAN do it yourself, but it is always best to seek the advise of counsel as there are too many things that just might go wrong. When dealing with felonies, you do not want to take a chance.

You can expunge them, but this does not get rid of them it just means that you may not have to publicly proclaim them under certain circumstances.

If you go to the CA Courts website linked below it will give you information on expungements.
