What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania
I've just inherited my father’s estate. I am the only child and everything was left to me as per his Will. Since the only thing of any value was his car a 1995 Geo Prism and a 1986 Skyline 2 bedroom 14' wide x 56' long mobile home which is in poor condition. Do I have to get an attorney involved before I give these items away? I know I must pay a state (Pennsylvania) inheritance tax, but must I have an attorney to do this? Does this property have to go into Probate Court before I can do this?
