i have a friend who is 15 & her father beats on her. ACS was called several times but he still hurts her. A week ago, he repeatedly slapped her in the face and she called the cops, he is being sent away for 3 months starting this friday. She doesn't feel likee she belongs there, and has suffered many years of pain and hurt, she doesn't want to run away...but she's trying 2 get emancipated. She doesn't know what to do & she doesn't have any money to support herself. What should she do? & What does she have to do?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
