What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois.

Well, I am from Chicago IL, but now I`m living in Toronto Canada because my job.

The problem is that when I was 17 years old (It was in May, 2001), I was driving in wrong way, with no driver`s license, and no insurance.

A policeman stopped me and he gave me 3 tickets for that, he didn`t arrest me but I got a court date (it happened in the city of Elgin IL.)

So I didn`t show up in my court date, because I didn`t have money to pay those tickets. And guess what, I got a warrant since that. (I know its ridicules)

Now I`m almost 25 years old, and I know I did it so bad, not to go to the court.

My question is if I still have that warrant in the state of Illinois?
Warrants expire or have prescription?

If not, it’s a good time to get a lawyer and clean my record.....
Remember I was a teenager when that happened.

Thanks for all your help. :(

A: No, they do not expire. I don't know what you mean by "have prescription".

Warrants don't expire and their prescription is you in jail.

If not, it’s a good time to get a lawyer and clean my record.....
You were goin' kinda ok until:
Remember I was a teenager when that happened.
What's that got to do with the price of tea in China?
