My son was arrested for attemped burglary and is waiting to see the judge on friday because he can't post bail. When does he get assigned a public defender and how do I find out who it is? We think he broke in to get warm. He was walking home in bigbear in under 30 degree weather in the early am and was arrested. Please help. We don't know any procedures.
