Is there anything i can do?
I was terminated from my job and the reason i was given was "supervisor and close friend, is leaving to work for a direct competitor, it has been widely circulated that you will be going to work for them, there for it is not in our best intrest to continue employment for you."

This took place in the state of Oregon i have been told it is an at will state and there is nothing i can do.

i have spoken to 3 lawyers 2 said there is nothing i can do.

one said he wishes he could file a suit in the state of oregon to go after them the.

i was not under any contract and was an hourly employee
is there anything i can do???

If 2 lawyers lready said not, I can't second guess them. BUT I'd consider a union organizing campaign.
