What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
My husband and I live in California; we have two adult children. I recently inherited some money.
Is there reason to keep this inherited money separate from our joint money?
If I die, I’m fine with this money going to my husband, but if he remarries, I would not want him to bring this money into a marriage where the new wife would automatically be the beneficiary, rather than my children. Should I make my own living trust?
I’d be happy to be sent a link to some information that would explain all this.
Thank you.
