Background Check Termination

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

If a outsource company hires you and you fully disclose any felony criminal convictions on there application that are more than 7 years old even though the application states 5 and now the client of the outsource company is now doing additional background checks after you have been employed for 2 years, is there any legal standing to fire an employee, especially if there are no felony convictions that would relate to your position, and have received promotions on you job performance.

That one, terribly long sentence was incredibly hard to read.

So... you work for an outsourcing company.

The client went through your background and declined your services.

Since you couldn't be used for said client, your company terminated you.

Correct?
