What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? North Carolina

I was fired for reporting a fellow employee to my local sheriff as an unregistered sex offender. Is this wrongful termination?

I wouldn't be quite so positive. There may be some protection under a public policy exception. It wouldn't hurt to consult an attorney.
