Who can be an informant? If you ask an informant if there are such or if they are DCI or a Cop, do they have to tell you? Is there anyway of checking on a suspected informant? Can an informant try to entice a person/juvinel into doing something that could get them charged? We have alot of people that have gotten in a little trouble nothing real bad, but they are calling our son and asking questions out of the ordinary or complete stranger are out of the blue asking him to get them drugs, he tells them he doesn't know of any and that he doesn't have anything to do with that he wants to stay out of trouble, but some of them are his friends, they are hanging around a man that has been stealing and trading for drugs, the cops are watching him/or maybe he already got caught but he is having these kids call my son and talk about things that he doesn't want any part of.
So how can you tell if they are informing to get themselves out of troube?
