Job Applications

I work for a company that is based in FL and has subsidiary businesses in 32 states. Is there a law requiring an employer to collect job applications. I know it is considered a best practice, but I have a few individuals challenging me on the necessity of this.

I appreciate your insight.

If they don't fill out the application, then they are not eligible for hiring.

There is no law requiring employers to to use employment application forms as part of their hiring processes.
