What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Colorado
they were 19 and 20 years old. since they are not a minor does it still matter.
Is it a misdemeanor or what could the charges be.

staying in hotel, bought alcohol at store and brought back to hotel,
they served them selves, and got really drunk.

Statutes related to alcohol define "minor" as one who is under the legal drinking age (which, obviously, is 21), so in that respect, they are indeed minors, and as such, one who provides alcohol to them has indeed provided alcohol to minors.

Let me put a bow on this.

You bought alcohol that the minors couldn't buy. They got drunk on it and you got busted.

Now you want to throw them under the bus.

Nice try. Won't work. You knew you were acting illegally and now you are playing nickel attorney and trying to Mattlock your way out of it.
