I work at an elementary school, and was exposed to fifth's disease. At the time I was eight weeks pregnant. I was told by my principal to go have a parvovirus b19 test done to see if I was immune to the disease. He also told me that workman's comp would pay for it. Now, I have been told that they will not pay for it. I told the doctor's office receptionist that it would be filed under workman's comp. Later the doctor's offfice informed me that they had called the school and were told that it would only pay if I contracted the disease. So, it was never filed as workman's comp. Is there anything that I can do?
