What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I LIVE IN NYC AND RECIEVED A TICKET. I KNOW SOME OF THE LAWS BUT AM UNSURE OF THE FOLLOWING.
IN BROOKLYN NY MOST STREETS RUN N/S AND AVE'S RUN E/W. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A STREET RUNS NW/SE. IS THE TICKET WRITTER REQUIRED TO WRITE THIS OR ARE THEY TAUGHT TO CONSIDER STREETS AND AVE'S TO GO IN CERTAIN DIRECTIONS.

Please do not post in all caps as it make it very difficult, and annoying, to read. Also, please provide more details about your situation.

All that is required is the address/actual location of the offense is adequately and correctly described on the ticket. So it can say "n/e c/o 123 Flatbush Ave." and that is satisfactory. It does not need to say what direction the street runs.

Besides if they are identifying the side of the street, the NE side of a NW/SE running street can property be referred to as either NE, or N, or E.
