My son and his wife got into an argument he grabed her leg and threatened her. She called 911 and the police responded. they took pictures of her leg which was bruised and arrested him and charged him with assault and resisting arrest. She has refused to press charges. He went before a judge and plead not guilty. they advised him to get a lawyer He is supporting a family of four on 18000.00/year and can't afford one He is going to represent himself. She has been supeoned to testify against him. Should we hire a lawyer for him and can she be made to testify against him and what is the sentence if found guilty. this happened in Utah. Thanks so much for your help and information nh
