What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania
Hello once again! Please excuse my ignorance of laws, tax, and such. Anyway, I live in Pennsylvania, therefore I know I have to pay Pennsylvania inheritance tax. My question is: Will I also have to pay an inheritance tax to the IRS? Thanks as always! JackWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

The recipient doesn't pay federal inheritance tax. There's a couple of million exclusion on federal gifts/inheritance over a person's lifetime, so unless the estates are huge, there usually isn't federal tax due.
