What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA

I have POA over my Mother's estate. It was granted in WA, but she is currently
living in a retirement community in FL. She will be buried in WA upon her death.
What kind of issues will this cause for me, dealing with her passing in FL?

POAs end the moment the grantor dies. Do you mean you are named as Personal Representative (executor) of her will?

FYI, I just checked FL statutes regarding POAs. It looks like there is no longer a provision recognizing a POA drafted in a different state (Chpt 709). To do things while mom is alive in FL for third parties in FL, you'll need a POA for FL.

Please make advance arrangements for mom's transport to WA upon her passing.
