Can I refuse what I am left in a will?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL.
I have had no communication with my biological mother for many years. I have since been told that in her will she plans to leave me a large amount of money. Do I have to accept the terms of the will? Do I have to contest the will to refuse the money?

Well you can make it real simple, accept the money, and immediately donate to a charity.

Or, you can then gift it to anyone else that you want, including those others that may be included in her will.
